Oh how I love the Hawthorn.

Hawthorn are for the heart. Protective, healing and bolstering but also hope inducing and opening when needed; an incredible ally in establishing our emotional spaces.

Hawthorn are also considered a gateway to the Otherworld and in lore it is believed that the Fae live beneath the Hawthorn trees. Because of this, and out of respect for the Hawthorn trees I harvested from, all thorns were harvested mindfully and with permission {because with all that is going on in the world, none of us need to have angry Fae on our case as well!}.

My suggestion is to place your protection amulet on your altar or in a space that you naturally gravitate towards when you are feeling overwhelmed or like you need a break.

• each amulet measures approximately 3 inches by 3 inches

• there is no hanger on the back of the tile, but you could easily attach one of those picture frame style ones sold at hardware stores
